Police hunt spare parts thieves in Charleville

CHARLEVILLE police are investigating two break and enters of businesses this week.

Officers are looking at forensic evidence found at the scene of a car spare parts business in Charleville which was broken into sometime Monday night.

Police said the unknown offenders gained entry into the business premises and made off with a sum of cash.

A small sum of cash was also stolen from another Charleville business overnight.

Police said offenders jimmied open a door of a mechanical business sometime overnight.

Despite the similar nature of the businesses, police do not believe the break and enters are linked.

Officers are also reviewing CCTV footage of the two offences.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Charleville police on 4650 5500, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or PoliceLink on 131 444.
