Police on hunt for driver who struck 45-year-old cyclist

A DRIVER who struck a 45-year-old cyclist this morning then drove away, is now being sought by police.

The silver car hit the rider at 6.10am on Wednesday at the corner of Tillot St and Annerley Rd in the Brisbane suburb of Dutton Park.

The rider was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious, though not life-threatening injuries.

Forensic Crash investigators are now on the scene.

Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the hit and run.

They are asked to phone Dutton Park Police Station on 3020 8111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
