Pedestrian hit by two cars while crossing road

A PEDESTRIAN who was walking his bike across the road at Kallangur has been hit in a serious crash.

Police say around 8:30pm the man in his thirties has crossed Anzac Avenue at the intersection with the entrance to Kallangur Shopping Centre.

A black sedan heading west on Anzac Avenue has struck the man as he allegedly crossed against a red light.

The man was then struck bt an SUV also heading in the same direction. The SUV has stopped and assisted police.

The black sedan did not stop and police are asking for the driver to contact them.

Police are also appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident or has dash cam vision of the area at the time to contact Crimestoppers if they have relevant vision. 

The man was transported to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious condition.
