Parking problems irk drivers

OVERCROWDING in one city centre car park is irking locals.

The Grafton St car park next to the Rose City Shoppingworld has some people complaining about cramped parks and makeshift spaces, however centre manager Jason Gard said he has never received complaints or negative feedback about the car park.

"We also have the underground car park and the one across the road, we have more then enough parks," he said.

Katrina, 29, a mum who is always popping into the shopping centre, said it is always full and hard to find parking.

"I think it's too small, but I also don't see how it could get any better," she said.

A woman using the car park, who did not want to named, blamed the problem on Warwick's mindset.

"Everyone in Warwick wants a park at the front door, no one is willing to walk," she said.
