The Bruce Hwy was re-opened at 4.40pm to south bound traffic following a truck rollover at Bakers Creek.


Police said the highway is shut and the driver has been transported to Mackay Base Hospital with minor injuries.


THE driver of the truck is being assessed by paramedics a QAS spokeswoman said.

The crash occurred about 11.26am

A QFRS spokesman said two crews were on scene at the crash near the roundabout at Broadsound and Stockroute Rds.

He said the semi trailer was carrying urea (fertiliser).

The southbound lane of the Bruce Hwy is shut as emergency services work to clear the scene.
