Not just any run of the mill art

FOURTEEN talented artists will feature in this year's edition of It's a Case of Art in the Mill.

The annual event returns this upcoming Mayday weekend to the Ballandean Case and Timber Mill for it's 18th year.

The display of paintings and drawings will be complimented by various 3D works including sculptures, metalwork, ceramics, timberwork, glass and silk.

This Mayday weekend artists Raylee Delaney and Judy Harris will make their Art in the Mill debuts bringing artworks from several different mediums including, acrylics, water colours and pastels.

Harris said her art is inspired by what is around her, from animals to objects, to fragment of conversations.

Meanwhile Delaney said all of the natural world from rocks, to plants to flowers have always spoken to her imagination.

The twelve other artists exhibiting include the regular stalwarts along with other Art in the Mill alumni.

The exhibition opens on Friday May 4 from 7pm then remains on display over the weekend until Monday afternoon.

All are welcome to attend the free event.
