Scouts den break-in

BETWEEN last Friday and Satruday the Stanthorpe Scout hall was broken into. Offenders smashed in an internal door at the Darcy St building and attempted to open mesh on a window causing damage.

Several soft drinks were stolen. If anyone has seen anything call Stanthorpe police on 46816400 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

Drink driver

A 50-YEAR-OLD man was charged with drink driving after he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.055 on Sunday night. The man was intercepted at 11pm on Wallangarra Rd, Stanthorpe and will front Stanthorpe Magistrates court.

Drugs located

POLICE located 1g of cannabis and a plastic bong at an Archibald St address after conducting a search warrant last Friday. A 33-year old Stanthorpe woman was charged with possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a utensil and will appear in court.

Drug driver

A 37-YEAR-OLD Gold Coast woman tested positive for drug driving on Sunday in Thulimbah at 11.50am. Police searched her vehicle and located several Valium tablets and a glass meth pipe. She was charged with possession of drug, possession of a utensil and drug driving and will appear in court.
