New team in place at Suncorp
NOT many can say that they're still growing and reinventing themselves at 88 years of age.
But that is exactly what the Suncorp Bank Stanthorpe Branch is doing.
Former branch manager Leigh Corbett, who after seven years has recently taken on a sales and service officer role at the Stanthorpe branch, said she was proud to hand the reins over to new branch manager Shane Phillips and lending manager Tim Rombouts.
"Shane and Tom bring a wealth of banking and finance knowledge to the Stanthorpe region," Mrs Corbett said.
Meet Suncorp Bank's new team at Stanthorpe.
"I have worked in the banking and finance industry for more than eight years.
I started my career in Rockhampton in 2007, which provided me with an invaluable insight into the beef and cattle industry.
I was also given the opportunity to work in Brisbane, which allowed me to develop a stronger understanding of metro banking requirements," Shane said.
"With a banking and finance career spanning more than 20 years, I am proud to be part of a passionate team of banking specialists and support Stanthorpe residents to achieve their financial goals," Tim said.
"Prior to joining Suncorp Bank, I worked across various sectors in Australia where I specialised in residential mortgages, small business lending and agribusiness.
"This experience has equipped me with a diverse skill set and strong understanding of Queensland's banking landscape, and more importantly how to support customers to take advantage of opportunities and mitigate challenges."
The appointment of Tim and Shane, has further bolstered the Suncorp Bank team in Stanthorpe.
Together with front counter staff, Parry Clark and Maria Hendry, financial planner Michael Grammatico and sales consultant Leigh, the team is well positioned to continue its support of the Stanthorpe community.
