Navy cadets sail to the southeast coast

ON Saturday, July 28, the magnificent seven salty Navy Cadets headed to the coast to meet 300 other cadets parading with the Royal Australian Navy Band and to celebrate their inclusion into the new Morton Flotilla, covering southeast Queensland.

A vehicle for the occasion was provided by the Stanthorpe RSL sub-branch.

Stanthorpe's own Navy Cadets training ship, Kookaburra, meets most Sundays at 12.30pm and parades at Red Bridge CT, in Stanthorpe, just off Anzac St. If you are aged between 12½ and 18 years, you can be part of the fun.
