BUSINESSES in Matthew St, Stanthorpe, have welcomed two local faces to their ranks.

Morgans has moved to The Courtyard from its previous location on High St.

Financial adviser for Morgans Financial, Andrew Crestani, said although financial advice seemed complicated or out of reach to a lot of people, it was relevant to everyone.

Mr Crestani said while investing and wealth management formed a part of what was done at Morgans, their role as financial advisers was to look across our client's whole position.

"Some of these areas include superannuation, insurance and Centrelink planning,” he said.

The financial adviser said superannuation and retirement planning was an area that had an impact on everyone.

"Whether this be just starting out in the workforce and looking at beginning to build your balance, to the latter end of your working life and aiming to accelerate building your balance through salary sacrifice and additional contributions or retirement and drawing an income stream the assets that have been built,” Mr Crestani said.

Each of these stages of superannuation required different strategies, Mr Crestani said, which ranged from the perspective of contributing to build your superannuation balance and investing this asset to meet your requirements.

"Centrelink advice and planning goes hand in hand with retirement planning, specifically with changes made to age pension thresholds at the start of 2017,” he said. "There are a number of possible strategies that may be implemented to potentially assist in maximising age pension where possible.

"Furthermore this can assist in funding your retirement through a combination of an income stream from your superannuation fund and entitlements you may receive through age pension.”

With the right kind of insurance cover and strategy Morgans can help protect you and your family's wealth and future earning potential.

"Our role in this regard is getting you the right cover in the most effective structure,” Mr Crestani said.

"We can help you choose the right combination of the five main types of risk insurance to deliver a strategy that meets your unique situation.”

Although most of this may seem complicated or out of reach financial advice is relevant to everyone,
