Optus mobile outages continue in Stanthorpe
OPTUS is continuing an upgrade on its Mt Marlay tower, with customers experiencing service outages for the second week in a row.
The Telco has been upgrading its 4G network in the Stanthorpe area since late last week.
Work was due to finish last Saturday but a spokesman from Optus said crews identified another piece of hardware that needed replacing.
"The plan was to complete work on Saturday, which I believe was done," Optus' Steve Batten said.
"Our technicians are continuing to work on site and while we do not for see any further service interruptions our work is not due to be finalised until Friday,"
Customers have been experiencing service outages for up to five hours at a time since Thursday.
Today's interruptions lasted more than two hours.
