Missing man found deceased

A 40-year-old Nambour man who went missing near Cherry Gully east of Warwick on Sunday March 11 was located deceased yesterday.

The death is being treated as non-suspicious. It is understood the man, Paul Devine, had worked on a property in that area previously. An extensive search was carried out in the days following his disappearance and it is understood he was found by relatives searching in the area this weekend.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

More than a hundred State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers joined with police to scour the Wildash and Cherry Gully areas as part of the search and the RACQ CareFlight helicopter was also brought in. The search was suspended on Sunday March 18.
