Missing man, 60, found dead after 3 week search

AN ELDERLY Caboolture man has been reported deceased by police after a a three-week search.

Police had called for assistance to find the 60-year-old who was last seen at a medical centre on McKean St around 10:30am on August 25 and hadn't contacted friends or family.

Police believed he was travelling to Gympie at the time, but unfortunately he was located on Friday, September 16, deceased.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
