
Jetstar ban on the cards after mid-air brawl
TWO passengers accused of fighting on an Australian-bound plane face a lifetime ban from the airline.
Jetstar and Australian Federal Police are investigating after a fight broke out on flight JQ33 travelling from Phuket to Sydney on Thursday.
Nine News reports the mid-air brawl happened when a passenger got upset about someone reclining their seat.
It is alleged a a27-year-old man hit the 42-year-old woman's seat.
The woman allegedly retaliated by punching him.
"Our crew on board acted quickly," Jetstar said of the flight to.
"We don't tolerate disruptive behaviour by passengers on our flights.
"We will conduct a review with a view to banning these passengers travelling with us in the future."
