Man, woman rescued after near drowning at Coast beach

TWO people have been taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition after being pulled from the water on Sunday afternoon.

A man and woman, both in their 20s, were reported to have been rescued from Claude Batten Drive, near Noosa at around 5pm.

Emergency services were called to the scene and have treated the pair before transporting them to hospital.
