Man injured in Eight Mile crash
ONE man was transferred to Warwick Hospital yesterday after a two-car accident on the Cunningham Highway at the Eight Mile intersection, just outside Warwick.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was stable and was taken to Warwick Hospital with chest pains and neck injuries.
The incident happened about 11am, with traffic backed up as emergency crews worked to clear the intersection.
One truck driver commented on the notorious blind spot while observing the damaged vehicles being towed.
“It's definitely a bad spot,” he said.
No one else was injured in the smash.
