Man hospitalised after assault in Allenstown

A MAN suffered a head injury after being assaulted in Allenstown last night.

The Queensland Ambulance Service reports it transported a 45-year-old male to the Rockhampton Hospital after he was assaulted on Upper Dawson Rd.

The ambulance service were called about 11.53pm last night.
