Man had a pipe in his undies
POLICE charged a 27-year- old man after finding a glass drug pipe in his undies.
A bail check on the offender in Roberts Rd last Wednesday resulted in two people being charged.
When conducting a curfew check, the 27-year-old could not be located, however a short time later he emerged from bushland with a second male who was found to be wanted on warrant. On searching the male a glass drugs pipe was found.
He was arrested and transported to Warwick Watchhouse while the 19-year-old was released and will appear in Stanthorpe Magistrates Court at a later date.
The intercept of a vehicle on Monday evening on the New England Hwy resulted in police finding about 14 grams of material believed to be methylamphetamines.
Two men, 31 and 33, were charged with drug offences. The next evening a traffic intercept in the CBD resulted in the location of implements used for the preparation and smoking of cannabis.
Both occupants of the vehicle, 18-year-old male tourists, received drug diversion for the offence.
Police conducting inquiries at an address in Roberts Rd on Thursday night charged a woman, 45, and a man, 48, after they were seen smoking cannabis.
Three drink-drivers were intercepted through the week. On Friday morning a man, 45, from Inala was intercepted in Folkestone St. He recorded a blood-alcohol reading of 0.15%. A man, 22, intercepted early on Saturday on McKillop Ln recorded .06%. On Sunday morning a Thulimbah man, 34, intercepted on the New England Hwy recorded .084%.
