Man conspired with sex worker to rob businessman: court
A GOLD Coast man accused of accidentally killing a wealthy West Australian businessman following the victim's kinky, drug-fuelled romp with a sex worker has been refused bail.
Benjamin Ghobrial, 25, is alleged to have killed Gregory John Hudson, 57, in a robbery attempt gone awry last October.
He stands accused of conspiring with the sex worker to rob the businessman of cash and cocaine, only to accidentally kill him with multiple punches to the head.
Mr Hudson's body was found naked, bound with a computer cord and with a bloodied gag near his head at a friend's Varsity Lakes unit on October 23, 2014.
He also had a stiletto puncture wound in his buttocks and potentially lethal levels of cocaine in his bloodstream.
