Man cleared over killing of Sunshine Coast’s Wayne Dover
ONE of three men charged over the alleged manslaughter of Sunshine Coast man Wayne Dover in 2013 has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Supreme Court Justice Martin Burnes told Blake Goldsworthy he had no case to answer.
Mr Goldsworthy's brother Wade and another man, Matthew Hill, remain on trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court over the alleged fatal bashing of Mr Dover outside the Factory nightclub in Maroochydore in November, 2013.
Mr Hill's barrister Kila Pedder told the jury this morning that there was little evidence proving his client was involved in Mr Dover's death.
Mr Dover was 45 years old when he died.
He was a well-respected businessman and deeply involved in the region's AFL community.
