Making an impression
THE trackside glamour was off the Richter scale on Saturday as men and women spruced up for the Killarney Cup.
The girls looked gorgeous and the guys just divine, as locals of all ages enjoyed what the Warwick Turf Club had to offer.
Turf Club committee member Nick Inmon said he could not have wished for a better turnout.
"It's better than we could have imagined," Mr Inmon said.
"There's a lot more people here than we thought. We were expecting 500 and there's about 700 here, which is just fantastic.
"All the promos were done well. The marquees are still full, even after the actual races are finished, which is great to see.
"Usually people go home after the last race, but they're still all here."
8 Ball Aitken rocked the stage, getting people up for a boogie, and the $30 buckets of brews were a definite favourite among the party-goers.
"We'll just have to make it even better next year," Mr Inmon said.
Race-goer Amelia Simpkins said she had a fantastic day at the Blues, Brews and BBQs Killarney Cup race day.
"It's really nice weather and such a good atmosphere," she said.
"The food is really lovely too. We'll definitely come back next year."
