Luxury Toowoomba hotel goes on the market

A MULTI-award winning motel in James St has been placed on the market.

Ray White Hotels investment sales agent Grant Bailey said an expression of interest process was under way for the sale of Quality Hotel Platinum International.

He said it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a buyer to obtain a "very unique asset".

Mr Bailey said the hotel had built up a strong corporate trade client base.

He said interest in the hotel was strong, despite the campaign being launched only last week.

The agent said the Wellcamp airport was attracting corporate travellers to Toowoomba as they travelled through to the mid-regions of Queensland and elsewhere.

The 4.5 star hotel at 326 James St, has 52 luxury rooms situated over 6,309m2.

It boasts a gym, pool and barbecue area.

There are three two-bedroom apartments, eight deluxe spas, three special needs accessibility studios, 32 king studios and two queen studios.

The deadlines for offers is Friday, October 14 at 4pm.

A dedicated website has been set up for the hotel here.
