Lure coursers meet

WARWICK Lure Coursing Club members will set the tentative 2012 program after a Christmas party on Sunday at Henry Joppich Park.

President Anne Freebairn said one issue to be discussed was the keenness of the Brisbane club to host regular trials at Warwick grounds.

"It is possible one of their major events, the Hope Island Cup, could be contested in Warwick next year," Freebairn said.

Members expect some Brisbane enthusiasts to attend the Warwick fun and practice day on Sunday. Registrations will be from 9.30am, with the first dogs on course at 10am.

The meeting will follow the practice around lunchtime. Inquiries to Freebairn on 4666 6208.
