Loud bang remains mystery

A LOUD bang in Stanthorpe’s Quart Pot Creek area overnight has got people talking this morning.
Police did a patrol of the area, after reports came in of a loud bang about 10.15pm last night.
“Police patrolled something down at the creek but couldn’t find anything,” Stanthorpe police spokesman said.
On Facebook this morning people were looking for answers, but the cause of the bang still remains a mystery.
There are indications the bang is somehow related to powerlines on Sugarloaf Road and The Border Post is waiting for a response from Ergon Energy.
