FORMER Stanthorpe Gremlins junior player Jordan Atkins will be one of 47 players and officials to be inducted into the Warwick Cowboys Wall of Legends on Saturday.
After impressing in the juniors for the Gremlins, Atkins played some under 18 football for Warwick.
He played more Toowoomba Rugby League games for Wattles and Souths.
But his best career move was signing for the Gold Coast Titans, where he scored four tries on debut against the North Queensland Cowboys in 2008.
He was part of the Parramatta Eels in the 2012 season.
Atkins is one of the NRL players to be inducted, a list which includes Simon Scanlan.
Scanlan played one season in A grade for Stanthorpe in the Toowoomba league before he linked with Parramatta, where he scored a try in his NRL debut at centre.
Saturday's function starts at 2pm and the Wall of Legends will be unveiled by long-serving league officials Greg Carey and Con Seibel at 4.15pm.
As with TRL games, the canteen and bar will be opened on the day. All welcome.
