Jail threat for teen
WARWICK teen Beau James Fogarty found himself in a familiar territory this week, once again staring down the barrel of a jail stay.
Frequent offender Fogarty was back in front of the magistrate yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to a total of four breaches of bail, one of breaching probation and one of breaching a community service order.
The police prosecutor said the breaches resulted after the 17-year-old failed to comply with a curfew issued when he was placed on bail and the teen failed to complete any community service.
The court heard the teenager had previously been slapped with a suspended sentence and community based orders for offences including possessing weapons, drugs and utensils, public nuisance and obstructing police.
Fogarty was yesterday sentenced to one month jail but was paroled immediately.
