Jaguar XF Sportbrake to pounce in November
POSH wagons continue to build momentum and Jaguar will be the latest manufacturer to deliver a load-lugger from November 1.
Priced from $90,400, the Jaguar XF Sportbrake will be available with a choice of two diesel engines and one turbocharged petrol in R-Sport, S and First Edition specifications.
The range starts with a rear-wheel drive 132kW diesel that has fuel consumption of 4.8litres/100km. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine generates 184kW.
At the other end of the performance spectrum, customers can choose the 221kW 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine.

Paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, it can sprint from 0-100kmh in 6.6 seconds.
Cargo space is 565 litres, which is bigger than a Ford Falcon but slightly smaller than the boot of a VW Passat, although drop the seats and there's an expansive 1700 litres.
