Introducing actor Ross Johnson
ROSS is an ex-farmer from a family that has grown fruit on the same property for 98 years.
He volunteers at Carramar and Blue Care as an entertainer.
He has always enjoyed singing and had lead roles in Tarantara playing the part of Doyle Carte. He was in the chorus of Oklahoma, Paint Your Wagon, White Horse Inn, The Gondoliers, Brigadoon and more recently starred in The Little Theatre's Our Own Guys and Dolls.
He has been a member of Stanthorpe choirs and enjoyed his time in an acapella choir.
In Barefoot in the Park, Ross plays the telephone man, who has to keep climbing six flights of stairs to fix the phone.
He is the theatre's link to the past as he is Jack and Agnes' nephew. He remembers the humour in the play and his brother Arthur being the stage manager in the original production in 1969.
Ross has enjoyed being part of the show and invites you to attend the theatre on May 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7pm.
Tickets are available at Gracious Giving for $20 and $15 concession.
