Hubdoc accolade for local accountant

LOCAL firm Power Tynan announced Nathan Smith as being named in Hubdoc's Top 50 Cloud Accountants for 2017.

"Receiving national recognition is a fantastic achievement, especially for a regional firm,” CEO Amanda Kenafake said.

"It is a testament to our team and the service we provide to our clients, as well as the way we approach our challenging environment.”

Hubdoc helps accounting professionals and advisers to keep up with the latest trends in Cloud Accounting, and how these can improve and transform small businesses.

While Power Tynan are known for their taxation and accounting expertise, the team offers a full range of services including succession planning, business improvement, corporate advisory, financial planning, business intelligence and data analysis.

"We are doing a lot in the IT space: getting client's systems up and running, configuring the systems to talk to each other, doing the data analytics. This all leads to greater advisory because we've got access to the right information," Amanda said.

"It's no longer just about the numbers, we are changing the conversations we are having and the way we engage with our clients to ensure we are looking at their business and personal cycle in its entirety.”
