Hi-tech makes smash hit
TECHNOLOGY like this isn't found in many places around the Darling Downs although it's feeling quite at home inside Warwick Panel and Paint's workshop.
The Car-O-Tronic Vision Classic computerised measuring system recently moved Warwick Panel and Paint's workshop into a new age of technology.
So, what is the Car-O-Tronic Classic computerised measuring system? It's a measuring system designed to support the entire repair process of a car from initial damage analysis and assessment to final checks and documentation.
The data in the Car-O-Tronic covers all new and updated cars and provides access to reliable data. By using this measurement system, it means each repair on a vehicle is brought back to pre-accident condition.
Owner of Warwick Panel and Paint Brett Benz said the Car-O-Tronic will help them keep everything at the one premises for the convenience of customers, on site at the Grafton St business.
"That means we are able to repair cars faster and get them back on the road for our customers," he said.
"I decided to purchase the four-wheel drive clamps for the system as well, allowing us to cater for all makes of cars and also four-wheel drives.
Brett Benz and his wife Rachel purchased Warwick Panel and Paint in 2004 and are continuing to grow the business with technology.
They now employ 12 staff and are repairing from 15 to 20 large and small vehicles each week.
