Gyrocopter pilot dies in crash near Gatton

A GYROCOPTER pilot has died in a crash at Mt Sylvia, south of Gatton.  

A light helicopter was reported to have crashed near Lefthand Branch Rd, about 1.30pm.  

It is thought there was only one person on board.  

Police and emergency services are on the scene.
