In the late game of the double header at Gilbert Oval in front of a large crowd on Saturday night, Goondiwindi Blue won 30-22 against premiers Inglewood.
Prop Sililo Stavenow continued his outstanding form with two tries for Blue.
Halfback Scott Marsh (Blue) and forward Brent Bennet (Inglewood) were the best players on the field.
Tenterfield recorded its first win of the season with a 34-26 victory against the previously undefeated Killarney at Charlie Andrews Oval on Saturday.
The team from New South Wales scored three tries in the first 10 minutes of the game while the home side was let down by poor ball security.
Both fullbacks had a field day. Brendan Minns scored three tries for the winners and Michael Marshall notched up 14 points for Killarney.
Goondiwindi Maroon won their first game of the competition, 46-16 against Texas.
