WARWICK eco warriors can now live the lifestyle all day every day with the Rose City real estate industry going green.
Wade Real Estate's Kelly Reardon said sustainable villas would be built through a new housing development - Eco on Coe - bringing the concept to Warwick for the first time.
"This is a first for Warwick and it's quite exciting," she said.
The aptly named estate will be developed on a block on Coe St.
Wade Real Estate agent Dennis Courtney said potential buyers could seek out more information by heading along to a meet-and-greet evening on Thursday.
"We would encourage land lords, investors and first home buyers to come along," Mr Courtney said.
He said Eco on Coe's Lester Drew was set to speak at the information evening.
Mr Courtney said while the villas were high-end purchases, residents would see savings because the eco-friendly design would minimise the use of electrical equipment like heaters and air-conditioners.
"The cost benefits will add up over the years," he said.
"They have an 8-9.5 star energy rating."
The meet and greet kicks off at 6pm at the Warwick Golf Club on Thursday. Phone Wade Real Estate on 4661 5655 to RSVP.
