FULL LIST: Every Isaac Australia Day award nominee
Nineteen Isaac residents have been nominated for the region's top honour this Australia Day, one that last year went to Clermont's Andrea Moller.
Labelled an altruistic treasure for the Isaac region, one of Clermont's chief "doers" received much-deserved recognition for her work.
"Communities don't survive without hardworking, selfless volunteers, and Andrea is one of the genuine and altruistic treasures of the Isaac," the citation for the mother of four's award read.
For the 2020 Australia Day awards, Isaac Regional Council added a special award to recognise "those who embody the spirit of our wonderful region".
From teaching people about fires and investing in Brahmans to showcasing events across the Isaac region, the Pearce family at Dysart shared the spirit of rural living through social media and took out the award.

Isaac Regional Council has received almost 70 nominations for the 2021 Australia Day Awards as residents recognise local champions, quiet achievers and unsung heroes.
The field of nominees for the regional awards includes eight young achievers for Young Citizen of the Year, 15 community events and five nominations for the Corporate Community Contribution of the Year.

Isaac Regional Council Mayor Anne Baker said on top of the regional award nominees, an impressive pool of residents were nominated for local award medallions in sport, culture and arts, achievement and community business.
"The annual Isaac region Australia Day Awards continue to acknowledge and recognise some of the region's most extraordinary residents," she said.
"It is one of my greatest pleasures alongside my fellow councillors each year to be able to recognise the exceptional people, groups and businesses through these awards.
"The awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our local champions.

"On behalf of council and the Isaac community, I congratulate every nominee and extend our thanks and appreciation for everything that you do to make your community a great place to live."
In addition to regional and local awards, a Mayor's Award is also presented in each community to recognise outstanding achievement.
Winners of the regional and local awards will be announced at Australia Day community events on January 26.
