Freestone pupils' lay Anzac posies
STUDENTS from Freestone State School were on hand at the Warwick Cemetery War Graves yesterday morning for the annual Anzac Day commemorations.
Warwick and district primary schools take it in turn to lay flowers at the War Graves on April 25 each year and this year it was the turn of one of the smaller country schools.
Students from years prep to seven lined up and respectfully laid specially-made posies on the graves, in front of dozens of attendees.
Principal Laura Watson paid tribute to P&C president Helena Oloman for her work in making the posies ahead of yesterday's service.
