Food drive for farmers and animals in drought

WHEN Chris and Ian Robins heard about a farmer almost having to put down working dogs because they could no longer afford to feed them, they knew they had to do something.

Mrs Robins, Loretta Williams and volunteers from the Ringmasters Cafe and Stanthorpe Agricultural Society have organised a food drive for our farmers and for their working animals to help during the drought. Working alongside Farmers Aid, they are collecting non-perishables such as pasta, rice, tinned fruit and vegetables, toiletries and dog food.

The food packs, will be donated to local farmers and farmers in Texas and Goondiwindi.
