Bunny to thrill kids at fair

BEFORE the Easter Bunny sneaks into kids' rooms to drop off baskets of eggs next month, he plans to make a special appearance at Leslie Park.

The fluffy tailed favourite will hop into Warwick as a VIP guest at Warwick's Easter Fair.

Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Tracy Vellacott said although the celebration was still a few weeks away, now was the time to circle April 7 on the calendar.

"Everybody loves to get up close and hug Bugs the Easter Bunny, and where better than beautiful Leslie Park, where you will find live music and over 60 market stalls," Mrs Vellacott

"This year we have put a strong focus on providing fun activities for the children while the mums and dads can enjoy a spot of market shopping or just kick back and soak up some live music while the kids have a ball."

Local songstress and Assumption College student Emma Bell will wow the crowds with her singing talents.

Stall holders wishing to participate in this exciting annual event should phone the Warwick Tourism and Events office on 4661 9073 to book their spot.
