A HOUSE in Hendon has burnt down this afternoon, with emergency services being alerted to the blaze at around 12.45pm.

Crews are still at the scene but it was believed nobody was home at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported.

It is understood council staff on the Allora back road spotted smoke from the blaze and dialled 000.
