Fire burning on Fraser Island not posing a threat

QUEENSLAND Parks and Wildlife officers are monitoring a fire on the northern tip of Fraser Island.
A Rural Fire Service spokeswoman said the fire was burning in national park scrub about 15km north of Orchid Beach.
She said the fire was not posing any threats but officers might conduct back-burning operations when the weather conditions were more favourable.
