Federer pulls out of Paris Masters

ROGER Federer has pulled out of next week's Paris Masters in a bid to be fit for the season-ending World Tour Finals in London a week later.

Federer made the decision after Juan Martin del Potro defeated the world No.1 6-4 6-7 7-6 to take the Swiss Indoors title in Basel.

Federer said he had a few niggles he wanted to heal and wanted to get them right before London.
