Fears held for missing woman, 32

A WOMAN believed to be missing in the Cunningham's Gap area has links to an outlaw bikie gang, police have confirmed.

Police divers spent yesterday searching dams and creeks on a property off Spicers Gap Road in the Main Range National Park east of Warwick, after a vehicle belonging to Gold Coast woman Tina Louise Greer was found in the area last Sunday.

Ms Greer, 32, is understood to have travelled from her Beechmont home on January 18 to visit her boyfriend, a member of an unidentified bikie gang, in the Aratula area where police have set up a highway information point to seek public information.

The missing woman's 2003 maroon Holden Commodore sedan was found locked at the Governors Chair Lookout on the eastern side of the Range.

Police at a media conference held in Brisbane yesterday would not confirm if anything was missing from the vehicle but did confirm they had spoken to Ms Greer's boyfriend and "a large number of other people" in relation to her disappearance.

Her brother Adam made an emotional plea at the media conference for anyone with information about his sister to contact police, but was not prepared to divulge details about her movements in the last few weeks.

"We're very worried about our sister ... she's a good person, we love her, we need her back."

The Homicide Unit is assisting with the case but it was being treated as a missing person investigation at this stage.

No further statement was issued by police last night about the search for Ms Greer, who has a 13-year-old daughter.

Police would urgently like to speak to anyone who sighted Ms Greer or her vehicle between last Wednesday and Sunday.
