Easter Fair is the place to be

WITH the Easter Bunny set to leave his paw prints at the end of every child's bed tonight, youngsters now have one more chance to see him in action.

The Easter Bunny will bounce on down to the 2012 Easter Fair celebrations in Leslie Park today.

Festivities start at 9am, with something for everyone.

Kids can follow the Easter Bunny around the park in a fun Easter egg hunt, battle it out in an egg and spoon race and then relax and have their faces painted.

Pick up a last-minute Easter gift or spoil yourself with something from one of the huge array of stalls.

Jewellery, books, homemade sweets, nuts, chocolate and organic soaps are just some of the great items up for sale today.

When the family is all hopped out, pull up a comfy spot on the lush Leslie Park grass and be entertained by some of Warwick's most talented performers.

Singer/songwriter Emma Bell will take centre stage today and is sure to wow the crowds with her voice.

Although she is just 15-years- old, Emma has already worked up an impressive resume, performing at coffee shops and local clubs.

She said she could not wait to entertain fair-goers.

"I am really excited and looking forward to performing. It should be a really fun, family day," she said.

Clearly Emma has a gift, but she cannot explain the source of her talent, with her great-grandmother the only other musically minded person in her family.

"I just love singing and I have grown up loving music and loving anything creative, really,"

Emma explained.

Emma has written about 20 of her own songs and said she used her life experiences as her writing inspiration.

The Easter Fair is expected to run until 3pm today.
