Driver travelling in excess of 160km/hr on Bruce Hwy

BREAKING 11.55AM: POLICE are on the lookout for a vehicle travelling towards Rockhampton in excess of 160km/hr on the Bruce Hwy.
The vehicle, a Ford Ute, was evaded Gladstone police near Ambrose.
It is described as having no number plates and a purple tarp over the tray with the letters RMW.
Motorists travelling in the area are urged to drive with caution and give way to emergency vehicles.
