Driver escapes with minor injuries

THE driver of a Hyundai Sonata was lucky to escape with minor injuries yesterday afternoon after running into the back of a truck.

The incident occurred on Kelly’s Hill, on the Sladevale side of Cunningham Highway north of Warwick at about 5pm.

Queensland Fire and Rescue Service station officer-in-charge Dennis Burton said the male driver of the Hyundai was treated for minor injuries at the scene by Ambulance officers. The driver of the truck was unharmed.
