Double dose of action

THE Coy twins both prefer freestyle when they head to WIRAC for the annual Warwick East State School Swimming Carnival.

Nearly every swimmer has a stroke they hate and in the case of the Coys, Declan hates butterfly and Jack hates breaststroke.

"Butterfly is too hard," Declan said.

At yesterday's carnival, Declan won his breaststroke and Jack was second in backstroke.

They occasionally have a social swim at WIRAC but most of their swimming is with Warwick East State School.

Away from swimming, both play cricket at school and are Warwick Hockey Association juniors.

In hockey, they are wingers, Declan on the left and Jack on the right.

Both scored a few goals last season and Jack said he was looking forward to returning to play on synthetic.
