Donation funds university dreams

I HAVE always dreamed of attending university and known that I wanted to make a difference in the world we live in.

As I age, I become more mature and my ambitions become greater.

This year I will be studying a dual Bachelor Degree of Business Management and Journalism at the University of Queensland.

I will learn skills that will aid my career and lead myself into my intended path. I will learn how to create a clear message, portray it in a form which will be read and inspire people with my words.

I would love to write encouraging feature articles aimed at both men and women of our society about our health, environment and ways to live our best lives.

Your contribution to me will help me afford a tertiary education.

I will put this donation towards textbooks which will allow me to learn and broaden my horizons in my field of study. With Zonta's donation, I believe I can later give back by encouraging future generations to respect themselves, care for their bodies and make the most out of their time on this planet. I am honoured to receive this scholarship from the Women's Zonta Club. This money is a huge help to myself and I cannot be more grateful. It has meant that I can stress less about upcoming expenses and focus more on my academics, contributions to my community and my exciting future. Thank you all very much for your generosity, it will not be forgotten. As my career flourishes I hope I can positively impact and empower people of the future - your children and grand children - with my words.
