IT WAS girl against girl as the top two teams in the YMCA ladies' indoor netball competition went head to head in the season grand final.
Stanthorpe YMCA Sport and Recreation co-ordinator Jaye Messina said the women put on a great grand final show.
"It was a really quick game," she said.
"I never knew which way the ball was going to go.
"They all played very well."
The Devils versus Bad Habits clash ended with a 41-13 win to Devils.
Devils captain Deborah Gasparin said it was a competitive game to cap off a competitive season.
"Despite the score difference, it was a hard and close game," she said.
"We played Bad Habits in the semi-final with a similar score, so we knew what we were up against."
Gasparin said she was pleased with her team's performance.
"The girls did a great job," she said.
"We had a different team this season, but everyone turned up ready to play each week, which was great.
"We will be enjoying our winners' voucher at the Aussie Beef Steakhouse, and will celebrate being runners-up last season and winners this season."
Messina said the YMCA would like to thank everyone involved.
"Thanks to all teams for participating and playing in very good spirits," she said.
"A special thank you to all our umpires throughout the season, and to Trish Cuthbert and Kerry Featherstone for volunteering their time for the finals."
The next indoor ladies' netball season will start in January, and teams can nominate now.
