Dawn service starts wintry mornings
IF YOU slept in then it would have been hard to believe the warmth experienced by the Rose City yesterday came second to a much foggier and cooler morning.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster Andrew Bufalino said it looked like the cooler temperatures experienced overnight Tuesday would start to set in as winter approached.
"This is a weather pattern we usually get around autumn," he said.
"(Today) we will see a minimum of 6 degrees, Friday will be 8 and looking forward to Saturday the minimum will be 11 degrees with the same on Sunday.
"Daytime temperatures are going to stay between 22-24 degrees over the same four-day period.
"There are some south-westerly winds pushing up the continent and cloud coverage that is keeping the temperatures below average."
Mr Bufalino said frost was not too far away for Warwick.
"(Today) could see frost around the area, especially further south and as you move towards the Western Downs," he said.
