Dashing through the city
“I patted the reindeer” was the comment from one young boy as Rose City Shoppingworld held its Christmas Parade on Saturday.
The area between the Palmerin Street entrance to Rose City Shoppingworld and the Warwick Town Hall was packed for the event which heralded the start of the festive season.
There was a long wait for Santa and the reindeer as they were number 16 of 17 entries in the parade, which finished with song and dance outside Bi-Lo.
After the festivities, children had their photos taken with the man of the moment, Santa.
