Crews on scene at grass fire

FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a grass fire north of Stanthorpe.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said they were called to the scene on Old Caves Rd about 12.50pm.

She said about half an acre had been burnt and crews were still on scene as of 1.20pm.

The cause of the blaze was not yet known.
